Ice Cube & Sun Meditations
Now that you know how to do a focused meditation, and have pain relief by turning down the pain signal, there are many other medications you can do that will help you control your pain. A lot of us have use of ice or heat as those alternative treatments, but we cannot always find ice or a heat pack every single moment that we want them. So, I’m going to include here a meditation called Ice Cube Meditation.
I use this meditation to help my pain quickly when I am out and about with the kids, waiting in a lobby, or just waiting for my heat-pack to warm up. It helps get me through the hard moments of waiting when I don’t always have my heat packs, or infrared with me, and helps me to not depend so much on narcotics and other pain pills.
When doing this meditation, make sure that you take time to allow each step of the process to happen. Allow yourself immediately feel and imagine the colors, the textures of the slick ice, and allow your body to respond. You’ll be amazed at this only takes a few minutes and as you practice it takes shorter amounts of time to get the same results. Now as for everything, it can take multiple practices to get the full results and effect. Often it takes my clients three good practices to get this done. I recommend you try three times in one week probably every other day. If you choose to do the heat instead, see the Sun Meditation teat follows.

Ice Cube Meditation
Close your eyes and allow your mind to be free.
Clear your mind of all your worries and troubles.
If you have a lot of thoughts going through your mind, or trying to remember shopping list, events coming up in the day, or any other thoughts then it’s fine to take a moment and write them down on the pad of paper.
Now with your mind clear, focus on one spot of pain.
Feel if it is sharp or dull.
Radiating or in one distinct spot.
Now imagine that pain in its shape, color, and intensity.
Now imagine you have an ice cube in your hand.
One of those old-fashioned perfect ice cube that are square and very cold. You can see the frost on it, and it is melting down the side.
Place that ice cube on your pain.
The ice is slipping through your skin deep, deep, deep until it reaches the pain.
The ice cube reaching the pain and sitting right in the exact spot it needs to be.
The ice cube sits and rests and begins to melt straight into the pain. Engulfing the pain in its coolness.
The pain is changing from an intense color to a watered down color and then slowly turning to a cool soft blue and then slowly calming into a pure white.
Let the area calm down and enjoy the relief.
Feel the area then become less noticeable and change to a healthy soft pink tissue.
The area now is the same as the rest of your body. It is rested, relaxed, and feels the same.

A perfect ball of yellow heat that sparkles and radiates heat, even giving off waves of heat in the air.
Place that glowing sun on your pain.
The sun is slipping through your skin deep, deep, deep until it reaches the pain.
The sun reaching the pain and sitting right in the exact spot it needs to be.
The sun sits and rests and begins to melt straight into the pain. Engulfing the pain in its warmth.
The pain is changing from an intense hard color to a brighter color and then slowly turning to a warm glowing gold and then slowly calming into a pure white.
Let the area calm down and enjoy the relief.
Feel the area then become less noticeable and change to a healthy soft pink tissue.
The area now is the same as the rest of your body. It is rested, relaxed, and feels the same.
